Construction on 1401 Lawrence is wrapping up, and office tenants have already begun fitting out their spaces. While work continues inside, we have the opportunity to marvel at all the little exterior finishing details that make this building great. Exhibit A: The two-storey art walls which were installed at the beginning of this month.

These two walls – one facing 14^th street and the other facing Lawrence street – are seamlessly integrated into the parking garage screening panels. Each panel was designed by our design-builder The Beck Group, and produced by internationally-acclaimed metal fabricator Zahner.  These perforated zinc panels depict a snapshot of the Rocky Mountains and are also back-lit, further enhancing the LoDo neighbourhood at night. Both First Gulf and The Beck Group worked with Denver Arts and Venues to approve the design, ensuring that the proposed art walls incorporated imagery which was both distinct to Denver and reflective of the unique Larimer Square area.

The Polsinelli top of building signage was also added this month and looks fantastic. It’s no wonder this building continues to attract interested office tenants!
