We’re excited to announce that we’ve broken ground on a 1.1 million square foot development on behalf of transportation and logistics company, Highlight Motors Group. Working in conjunction with Cavalieri & Associates, this state-of-the-art warehouse and office development is located in the heart of Bradford, Ontario on 100 acres of land, and stands as a testament the success of Highlight Motor Group.
Phase 1 of the project will consist of the development of 60 acres of land with 540,000 sf of warehousing and office space being built. Phase 2 will entail the development of the remaining 40 acres of land.
With operations currently located in Vaughan, Brampton, New Jersey, Illinois and California with over 1,100 employees, this new development will serve as Highlight Motor Group’s new headquarters. Located at Highway 400 and 5th Line, this expansion reflects the company’s growth within their industry and dedication to the communities in which they operate. This new facility will bring an estimated 2,000 jobs to region, further bolstering this sought-after, and growing hub in the Great Toronto Area’s northern region.
In addition to members of the Highlight Motor Group team, First Gulf and Cavalieri & Associates, this ground breaking event was attended by MP Scot Davidson, Minister of MTO Caroline Mulroney, County of Simcoe Warden Basil Clarke, Mayor of Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury James Leduc, Deputy Mayor Raj Sandhu, esteemed Bradford councillors, and partners who have been instrumental in this achievement.
