Canadian footwear retailer SoftMoc has signed a lease for 145,600 square feet at 901 Hopkins Street in Whitby, where the space will serve as a warehouse and distribution facility. The retailer is currently in the fixturing phase, outfitting the premises with office space and a state-of-the-art automated racking system. 

With this lease, the 293,000 square foot building is now 50 percent leased. First Gulf has partnered with Nicola Wealth Real Estate on this development, marking the eighth collaboration between the two firms and bringing their combined industrial footprint across the Greater Toronto Area to more than 3.5 million square feet.
